Hi to everybody.
My name is David and I live on the Gold Coast, Australia. My father and I have been discussing building a Cyclekart for his grandkids for a little while now.
He has just created some space in the shed by selling an MGA that has sat for 25 years. It leaves tomorrow, and on Sunday I will deliver to him 4 17in motor bike wheels to use as the base for a 1933 MG K3 Cyclekart. The wheels are from a Honda CT110 or a postie bike as we call them in Australia.
We do have a lot to think about before we actually start.
Just to show you what he has built before, here is my dad in his racing car he built in his shed.
My younger brother is also a talented car builder. He has built a couple of gravity racers. These are down hill racers with no motors.
So if the talents of both can be mixed we should be able to end up with a decent Cyclekart.

Now the next problem. He has 4 grandchildren boys aged between 6 and 12. I think he will have to build a couple.

Anyway looking forward to lots of reading, learning and building.

I will be starting a new tread on our build soon. We have some parts and some space to build it. Now we have to decide what to build.
