Looks like Austin ruled the UK in 1936.
Or at least the 750 CC class.
Those would have been the days at the Brooklands.
CycleKart's TCVs probably wouldn't like it so much......but, paved curvy Hill Climbs would be Fun as a CK event????

Think I posted this before.. 301 motor and series 40 converter but it does give you an idea how a Torque Converter performs in climbing:


And yes....I know....the tires are a little smaller that the CK's.

With the link to Pendine, I did consider Babs (very) briefly, but decided it might be a tad difficult to scale it to cyclekart dimensions. I think I'll stick to the Morgan first, and then possibly an Austin Seven racer second, the blue one behind the Issigonis Special.
