My car started off as a Riley Brooklands, but now I call it a '29 Bitsa!

There's a short thread on it in here.

Oh, that's right. How much of the Riley bodywork will remain?
I guess I'll have to get up to that B.C. event when you guys get it going.

It's not going to look very Brooklands, hence the name change. I'm covered in dust from sanding FG, but it's starting to look like it might be acceptable.

Drove it today, and so did a friend, he was surprised at how it went with only 6 hp.

It will look like a real car when the rear is fitted and painted. I'm using left over white house paint, final colour will be BRG.

Hi all, I was in Kelowna on Friday and was able to spend a little time with Brian. What a great guy. I also understand why it takes him time to build things he is so generous with his time. I wasted two hours of his time and could have stayed all day. All his stuff is brilliant and it was an inspirational visit. His plans for a grand prix sound fantastic and I will need to get busy to be ready in time.

Anyone in the BC chapter in Vancouver? I'll be visiting Vancouver 11-12 July on our way home from Tieton and Seattle Tandem rally. Would be nice to be able to say hi and see cyclekarts while in Vancouver.

Thanks.

I haven't started a kart yet but thought maybe if I saw one in person I'd get some better ideas as to how to approach it

Brian

I have decided to sale my MILLER CK so I will have room for the other CK PROJECT ALMOST COMPLETE
and sculpture projects due this summer.

I really don't want to list it, but will be soon.

I will take $2500.00 for it. It is a great ck and every thing is right on it.

If you know anyone that might be interested please let them know.

THANK YOU !

RANDY

Just to let the BC folks Know, I am working on my kart. I cut and shaped the front horns of my frame rails today so now I can assemble my frame. I'll post pics soon and maybe start my own thread....David

Way to go Dave. I look forward to seeing it.

Today I took mine to Kelowna and hung out at the car show adjoining the Knox Mt. HIll Climb. It was a great success and we had lots of interest, drove it around the grounds several times. Answered lots of questions, and handed out may cards. Woody had his welded up frame and some bits on display.

I worked on my steering today Smoky soon we'll be able to take them up into the hills for a little run. See how the Bitsa handles the bumps.

Hey Don,
I think we have the same trailer, it's nice to see how well it fits.
