I am happy to announce that my CK is complete, has been track tested, adjusted and sorted, and now finished.

It needs some details and some bling, but it's a fine driving machine.

The BC Chapter will be displaying this and a rolling chassis at the Knox Mountain Hill Climb in Kelowna this weekend.

Next month Tieton Grand Prix! smileys with beer

That is awesome Don, and what great PR for the sport. I'm a bit bogged down in the garden at the moment but scored a nose cone at the thrift store so still gathering bits.

You missed the test drive at the Secret Track.
But, my might need to hook up with Don for an inspirational drive.
Vic was over yesterday, and there could be another driver test coming up soon with more than one CK on the "New Track"?????

I have been working, mounted my tires the other day. That was interesting, haven't mounted tube tires to wire wheels since 1972. Soap still works with screw drivers. Finished the curved horns at the front of my frame rails so now I can get my frame together. Working out my brakes, brake and go pedals. Have my nose cone or rad shell if you will, motor is ready to fire, oops need a fuel tank. I will start a journal with pics soon........

Sounds like you are going to progressing at a great pace.........you maybe passing me soon if I don't bet these farm chores sorted out and get back to work on my CK in earnest.
We did get to do a little test driving again, which is always inspirational. AND FUN!
Don and Vic had their Karts up in the bush last Wednesday (I emailed you the Video) and Don has since gone home to finish up a couple more details on the "Bitsa".
Keep up the good work.
Good Roads

OK,

The CK is in the trailer, the trunk is full of tools and spares, helmet and go-pro are ready!

I depart at O-dark-hundred, pick up Woody, and keep driving south.

The Canadian invasion of Tieton is about to begin.

See ya'all tomorrow.

Meant to ask you guys partaking in the "Canadian invasion", is there a border crossing
that you have to go thru and an inspection or is it an open border up by you?????

All the borders over this way are all manned. The karts make for an interesting discussion though. Sometimes an inspection, most of the time not. Don't think we have any unmanned posts left after 911.

Don & Brian go through a different one...longer trip....probably more coffee. Trick is usually avoiding Seattle & I90 (particularly on the way back).... can be 3-6 hours of stop & go...sometimes more. Getting much better at backroad
Navigation.

Have not had a coffee since 1971.
Not my idea of a road trip drink!smileys with beer
The Crazy Canucks plan to have a hospitality booth at the show ....featuring "Canadian Margarita"
how fitting is that for a farming town that has become predominately Hispanic?????
Good Roads
Brian & Don
PS
Road trip begins at 6:00 am tomorrow!thumbs up
