Good afternoon all.

I'd thought I'd post a few pictures of my 1934 Maserati R1 V8 build.
It's a hopefully simple build, plywood fibreglass box, two steel rails.
But it is a bit long...100" and that's with the end of it's tail cut off!
But it was the only way I felt I could get a sense of it's proportions.

Currently trying to shape the nose...lots of tiny bobbles of polystyrene flying around the garden.
I'll post a few more when I've got the nose done...

That will be a beauty!
Nevermind the length though. Get it to look right.
My Ferrari is 106". There's just no way to fake those long tails

Inspiration picky should be attached.
The exhaust is nothing more than black, solvent, 11/2" or 40mm waste pipe and fittings.
I will admit it took me longer than I expected to file/sand off all the manufactures' name, symbols and part numbers.
Re the tail my plan is when I've finished to make the end of the tail as an attachable extra.
