I got it with the kit

In reply to # 27592 by Woodysrods
In reply to # 27589 by JTremain I got some hi heat (up to 1200) grill paint, its a flatter black than the valve cover but looks good.

and the flywheel is an additional option on the nr racing stage 2 kit, no billet rod for me!

In reply to # 27588 by Woodysrods But, did you have the block powder coated to match the valve cover.
And is that the polished billet flywheel that usually comes with the billet rod?
Brian
Did you get it separate or with the Stage 2 kit?

Yeah, the difference in the kits is a massaged carb vs rejetting, it's really like a stage 1.5 haha

I've found "Stage 1" to be pretty loosely defined.
Running the simple carb re-jet/air filter/header combo found me down on power to most guys, who I found to
be a bit more, assertive, shall we say.
Without a bigger bore carb and advanced timing, be prepared to wash your driving suit a little more often.

All the changes they're doing is just running the sport off into the ditch. Everybody will be spending more money trying to keep up and thus the end begins.

From all the post in the last 5 months, winning is their only option. thumbs down

Some of the most hot rodded engines in the game can be found in the some of original bunch
of Gittreville karts. Stage 1+++ mods are nothing new. Dumfries wisecracks about having gone overboard
himself from time to time.

Few pictures of the current progress. Almost got the front axle made, then I'll need to make the mount the attached it to the chassis. Waiting on heim joints for the radius rods and steering linkage.

And anyone who says you can't weld a chassis with flux core, probably hasn't welded a chassis with flux core!

That's what I'm trying to avoid! Fingers crossed

In reply to # 27843 by RROLDSX That ain’t gonna break!

Made some more progress. Got the weld in bungs and heim joints in, so I get the radius rods figured out. Still need to make the mount and shackles for the spring, then I can actually get the thing on wheels! smileys with beer
