Wow, no grass grows under your feet! Great progress, you will be driving around that CK before the snow in Creston has melted. See you in the Spring.

Yes, Wow!
Great pictures!
But, you are going to make me look bad (in Don's eyes anyway) if you are running before I am.
Al Lies is looking for CKs for a Car Show in Spokane?????? Food for thought and a target date for those of us that like deadlines.
Thanks for posting.
Next we will get Ed posting, as he is moving along as fast as you are!

Interesting how you put the. Front springs outside the frame rails.

How wide is your track?

Ent from Hong Kong, between flights..

Peter. Who was the guy you found in Creston with cycle kart parts at decent Cdn dollar prices?

Great work! My Bugatti T35 project stalled some years ago when I struggled to find someone to bend the axle for me - I hope to pick up where I left off this Spring so very interested in watching your progress.

Well day 8 and 9 are showing some progress. the .040 aircraft alum skin is showing some shape over the rough wood buck. Wood buck removed and light steel substructure mostly in place. The tail begins and is the hardest part with some compound curves required. That will be tomorrows job. Then come lots of hours of polishing as this one will not be painted.

Fantastic progress!
My wife Sandi says I should invite you over.
I got to my aluminum (as far as bringing it down to my fab shop) but got distracted by my Finger Break.
I think it is a subconscious stall tactic, as Aluminum is not my forte.
You are a definite inspiration.........I think I will put the break into service tomorrow.
Keep up the great work!
And Thanks from all of us for the great pictures.
Brian
PS
What are you using for your "light steel structure"?
And do you have pictures of it?
Also what is your rivet spacing? I Love it!
I was going to go with 1"

It looks like most of these parts are from Vintage Kart Co.

10 days to a rolling cyclekart that looks like this?
Unbelievable! Can't wait to see what the next 10 days
bring. A prime candidate for the 1st Slime dog gathering
of the year.
