Located in upstate south Carolina. Looking to get a local club together. Maybe have some regular meet ups and races. Currently talking to some people about getting some more cyclekarts built in the area. I currently have two myself. All of my pics can be found on social media and YouTube simply by searching #becausecyclekart can't wait to get some guys together for some cyclekart fun. Also starting a third cyclekart myself in 2017.

Love the idea of these local or regional groups.

The group here in the Phoenix area grows every time we have an event. At our last outing people stopped by to check out what we are all about. It becomes contagious. If you need a logo, feel free to use ours. We of coarse stole it from this site. I know you already have one of our awesome shirts.

Should do it with the SC Palmetto tree and moon in the background. Love the shirt BTW. Or I should say my wife does since it's hers lol.

Great News!
Congratulations
This Chapter thing has become as contagious as the CycleKarts themselves.

Nothing official yet. But I do have several guys that want to start a club and get some cars built. A couple weeks ago I brought both my cars out to the Middle Tyger scc campus and did some racing in the vacant lot beside it. Went pretty well and some guys that are interested got to come out and drive for the first time. We're supposed to be getting together soon to start moving forward with some design and chassis builds. So hopefully it won't be long now.

Brings me back to articles I read back in the mid 50's in Rod & Custom about
a some fun a guy named Art and his buddies were having in the Rose Bowl
parking lot. Turned into kind of a big thing shortly after.
You may be on the ground floor Chris of something big, that is, if we can get
some people to let go the reins and let the pony run.

Doing what I can with what I have. It is very exciting. I feel like I'm close. I'm always open to new ideas on how to get the ball rolling.

Hey Chris, just heard from an old buddy from the Stovebolt gang, Alvin.
Says he knows you. I told him to get you to put him in one of yours, and
chase you around awhile. Just what he needs in his retirement, another
project. He's a go getter so it wouldn't take him long to throw a kart together

Yeah I know Alvin. He hasn't seen them in person yet but I've talked to him a fee times and he sounded interested. I put them in a car show back in October, he was supposed to be there but couldn't make it. I'm sure he'll see them soon enough. It would be great to get him involved.

Hey, I'm in - Lets get an Upstate Cyclekart Group going.
Anyone got a catchy name?
I'm in the planning and part collecting stages now for my first CK.
Do all of you guys follow any specific rules or guidelines?
I know the Gittreville folks out west have a specific set of build guidelines.
