I got this vintage carburettor in a box of parts I bought at an auction.
Do any of you recognise what it is and what it is off.

Cheers

Ok it seems like it not the missing carburetor off a Super Marine Spitfire or a super rare Rolls Royce.
As it is missing the top of the fuel bowl there is no manufacture names or stamps.

Any ideas?

It doesn't look like a carb to me, I see nowhere for air to pass through. Do you have any more pictures?

David,

As a break from laminating (yuk!!) I did some Yahoo and Google image searches, no joy sorry. I did find this site though: http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/50893/70303.html?1227126594, might be worth asking on there.

I had a look on google images for vintage brass carbs and It's a bit similar to a Rayfield. if you haven't already checked it out.

Best regards and good luck Mick
