Fabrice, I guess you know that it used 1/4 elliptic front springs? If you want photos I took a number last time I saw it. The real Spider will be at Montlhery revival this year. That's a bit closer to you.

Hello Rhys,

Yes, for the springs I will modify !! In fact, this design is a "first try"
I started the drawing by a "classic" chassis, and I progress gradually at random, I have no plan ...
If you have some pictures, I would be interested!

thanks in advance
Fabrice

If ever there was a perfect car to model a CK from, that is it.
Would sure make the body work and easy task. I think that
ranks up among the most photogenic cars of that era as
every vintage meet that I've seem posted on youtube has
a few dozen shots of it and it's clones.

Spider, and Spider 11 (2) are absolute icons of the Shelsley special world. They and Bloody Mary are in a league of their own in my opinion. Facebook has a site dedicated to the Shelsley specials. Mine of information. Another worthy car is Grannie, which has no GN underpinnings.

Yes, for me too, the Spider, like the Bloody are the icons of the race world of past time ...
We already have a Boody in our club, but not yet a Spider !!
I hope to carry out this new project ! And I would give you news...

Both had a heritage from the GN so it's not really surprising Fabrice.
