“Bugatti Type 59”
The Bugatti was the third CycleKart, built after Peter Stevenson moved up to Jack's Peak in Monterey. He wanted to do a really light, delicate one, and it was time to build another C-K anyway! The Type 59 fits the long, low look of these and we hadn't done one yet (having done the Type 35-based Bugatti pedal car some years before).

This car has always felt light and nimble. It's more delicate feeling, though, with the aluminium body parts and boattail. Fun, though! (especially out on the open road in Texas...This was a fun car to tour around the back roads in.)

As does the MG from a previous April Fool's article!
(the MG A, not the Magnette C-K, but I think Peter put an R&T sticker on all the cars which
were in the mag...)

This was the kart that first inspired me to build I am building a type 57 style. I hope I can get the same great proportions as your kart. Thanks!
