“The Project”
I'm new to this, I have a wrecked honda motorcycle and I wanted to make a vintage look race go kart then I discovered these little beautys and decided to make one. Me and my dad are going to build one in a couple of months from the parts we have from the Honda C90 (wheels, engine electrics) and fabricate our own frame. I have worked as a mechanic and engineer and my Dad has been restoring Classic cars since he was 20. he's currently restoring a 1973 VW Camper van and has restored a 1970 VW Beetle and a 1982 2CV6 Special. We have a broad knowledge of how things work. I will be designing the parts from scratch and attempting to make one of these cars, perhaps not exactly the same but using some of the ideas used by the makers of Cycle Karts. my Dad is 6" 6' so we will be upscaling this project a bit for him to fit into it. I am 6" 2'.
