Tieton 2019?

Hi all,

Trying to plan for 2019. I have a notion that the event will be in June again, but I'm trying to pin down a date. It looks like 2018's thread was started in April, so is it typical that the event date is set about two months out? This seems inconsistent with the status of the event.

Thanks!

I would like to know the dates too. It's going to take some planning if I'm going to go, so the sooner, the better.

The Tieton Grand Prix has been held within the last two weeks in June for the past 5 years.
I would not expect that to change, as this is the largest event held in the small town of Tieton Wa.
and I would be surprised if there was a date change, as long as they continue to use that venue.
So unless the Gittreville guys decide to change the dates, I think that time frame is a safe bet for
pre planning your summer schedule.
They usually send out notifications and registrations in late January; last year was unusually late.
Hope to see some new faces and new CycleKarts at the 2019 Tieton Grand Prix.smiling bouncing smiley

Word is, that guy with the 1924 Miller will never finish that project. hot smiley Too bad. It had some potential. drinking smiley

There's a good possibility I might be in Tieton next summer. It's a bit of a drive, though
I might have to start stocking up on beers now just to make it there by June. smileys with beer

Here's a picture of a finished Miller, just for a little inspiration.spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Miller in Milwaukee - July 12-13, 2019. Too bad, If it were closer to the Tieton dates, I could stop there on the way home.
I don't think I can afford to take off for a whole month.

You mean there might be some other racing besides Tieton? Where, at your place?

There is bound to be some action at Slymedawg around that time as well.
Rick, that car NEEDS to be at Tieton if there's any way possible.

AJ, what's the story with Oscar? Is it any closer to being that Bentley?

A couple dozen people have driven the Oscar the Grouch car and everyone walks away with a smile on their face. I will have a new lightweight racer buildt for next year. Plenty of my friends are planning new builds, too. I'm hoping to have a fairly large contingent there at Tieton next year!

Any clues on the lightweight, or is that still a Black Project?
