I used a centrifugal clutch, and i can tell you that i will not have it for very long. acceleration from a stand still is MISERABLE and even the slightest incline and the kart needs to be pushed to get moving. But once moving this thing is fast. I have not been able to get to top speed yet as my street ends before getting there. The video I made got corrupted and wont play, if the weather is good today I will take a new video.

I have not touched my kart for a bit due to other commitments, managed to get some leaf springs today so well chuffed. Am planning on going straight for torque converter from the off especially now you have tried one. Your kart sounds fast and furious ha ha, will get mine sorted over the British winter.

Will await the video.

shooting a new video got put on hold. I have to rethink the mount for the brake band, it got bent during a test ride and locked up. On a good note the brake it self works great!

Better with no brakes gets the old ticker going a bit faster than usual spinning smiley sticking its tongue out
