We have used these blanks in the past here at work

McMaster Carr part number 6847k24, just cut and bore to size needed, this might work for you

That's what I'm talking about Doug. I've seen those at McMaster, who
I order from a couple of times a week.
Grob has an infinite selection but I haven't priced them as it would be a
rather long project to try and duplicate the work that Fabrice has done.
So...this is a project for somewhere down the road.......if I live long enough.

How are you making the internal splines Fabrice????
I have been using a spin indexer for many years,
and for one of my Christmas presents this year I ordered
a dividing head for my mill.
There still is that problem with those internal splines.

Hi Denny,

In fact, I do not have to do internal splines!
Chinese small differential blocks for electric cars use gears with metric ribbons (M1-22dents)

That has always been a problem whenever I want to do something with a spline.
I encountered this when I was modifying the Ross S10 steering gear for my Riley.
I bought some 5/8" x 16 tooth spline stock and some matching bushings from
Grob, which is a company that is primarily known for their Band saws but they
also offer a full line of Cold Rolled Standard Spline Shafts and Bushings.
Tks
