Okay. another year has slipped by, but the concept of the driver losing the crucial weight instead of the car still applies.!thumbs up
So, once again that after Xmas bulge has inspired me to get back on the scales in preparation for Tieton.
Starting weight: January 2/19 = 222 lbs sad smiley
Race weight goal: June 2019 = 190 lbs (185 lbs would be even better, but I am getting old and it is harder to loseeye rolling smiley)
Weigh in: January 12/19 = 208 lbs...........first 10 day withoutsmileys with beer......net loss 14 lbs.
January 17/19 = 203 lbs...........only 5 lbs this week (went to the pub for lunch Wed. so slipped a littledrinking smiley)
It will get much harder as target weight gets closer!
Brian
PS
Wife is onboard with this project....go figure??grinning smiley

Another excuse to go to the Pub last Sunday for the Football Games (we don't have cable....to Cheap!eye rolling smiley)
produces a slight weight "gain", but the punishment of being good for most of the week Out for lunch and Beers
Thursday and Fridaysmileys with beer........still resulted in me reaching that magic number.
200 lbs. on weigh in yesterday.
Sub 200 on the scale is like plus 200 at Bonniville!thumbs upsmiling bouncing smiley
So now, to keep the needle falling until Racing Season........I feeling really good about this.

I need to loose some weight too, though I have an advantage in my starting point, 185 lbs at the moment, aiming for 175, ideally less. I'm 5'6" "tall for a Welshman" as someone famous once said, not that true now, like everyone else the Welsh are getting taller.

But Celery isn’t cheaper than wine, the most expensive of mine comes out at about £3 a gallon, 16% by volume too (don't like celery anyway).

Well I’m trying to do all you guys a favour?
Without any assistance or monetary reimbursement, to bring me UP to racing weight, I’m drinking as much beer and eating as much pizza as I can supplemented with midnight to 2am doughnut n whipped cream binges.
After all it’s only fair right‍♂️☁️☁️☁️☁️☁️
