A double elimination would take care of that.

As Woody asked to transfer it, this relates to drilling holes in your chassis rails. I don't know how it fits with dieting smiling smiley but...

It would be interesting (I think) to calculate how much you would actually save. Not very much I suspect, so here we go.
2" holes would be 3.14 sq inches (Pi r squared)
3 lbs /sq ft. 144 sq inches in a square ft,
Does that really mean 45 holes to save 3 lbs!
Worth the effort? Not to me. Above calculated on 16 gauge (1/16, or .0625) steel .

If you go back to the #1 post in this thread you will see how your calculation has everything to do with this thread, rather than the Video thread ????tongue sticking out smiley
The premise of this thread is that it is "way easier for the driver to skip a week of Beers to achieve a 3 lb weight loss, than it is to drill
45 holes in your frame!

Good to see us back on topic here.

......... sooooooooooooooooo ............, back to on-topic:

one small bottle of rizinous oil (castor oil) taken beside the free and clean toilet, just before a race - should solve problems of 3-pound over-weight?
If a bottle is bigger, could be used for a few races, or the rest could be used as an additive to engine oil?

of course, before that one big pill against high blood-pressure: all liquids out!

today i was at the doctor, regular general service, and saw that i got new 2 kilograms during winter (lost 5 during the summer-autumn season of 2017).
therefore, to buy one small bottle at pharmacy shop and teste it for the benefit of all cylekartistes - my humble contribution!

ciao,
zoran

... of course, I am expecting to have one round in your CK, if I ever visit the USA!
Or, at least to "take a seat" while watching videos or photos - I have a quite strong imagination!

All the best during construction process (going very well) and later driving it around, or at shows or racing it!

Regards,
Zoran

I don't think the weight is that big of challenge with the right gearing.

Well, at todays weigh in I have hit the magic 200 Lb mark!hot smiley
But, I must have to admit that I have not been trying very hard lately.
Last time I had a big drop, I was having a bet with my daughter.....and my highly competitive nature drove me!eye rolling smiley
Added another lb to my tub skeleton yesterday, so the 10 lb target is looking to be in trouble??
Going to cut he aluminium today.
Pictures at 11:00 pm.

Okay........what does Aluminum weigh?
Well, this morning I cut out a piece of .080 Aluminum 26 3/4" x 18" for my sub floor, and to my surprise it weighed in at 3.5 lbs.angry smiley
I can see the hole saws coming out this afternoon!
As the skeleton came in at 7.8 lbs already????????

I'm down to 220, 16 pounds lost since my wife and I started our diet in mid January.
We're doing the weight-watcher freestyle thing, where you can eat whatever you want as long as you stay under your points allotment for the day. I'm allowed 35 points/day. So if I want a cheeseburger that's 15 points, it leaves me 20 for the rest of the day.
A beer is 5 points. I made sure I checked on that one.
Certain food like fruit & veggies or chicken and fish (grilled, not fried) are zero points, because the nutritional value outweighs the calories, or something like that.
All I know is it's working and I plan to be at my goal weight of 195 by the end of April.

Then I'll start drilling holes in everything.
