I like the leather cover for the engine. Nice touch!

The tonneau cover is an old spitfire top, so just vinyl. I have three here. I used the best part of the worst one. I have to prime and paint before I put the snaps on the body.

I got a chance to get a couple more shots of it today. I made a ramp to get it in the back of my pick-up, so I took it for a ride down to the HVAC shop where they gave me a little sheet metal to get the cowling and bonnet done. A MG guy stopped by for a look and gave me a nice emblem for the front of the supercharger.

Nice Victor.... Looking great.

Just my luck to pick a car that no one has spare emblems around for...smiling smiley.

Yes Rhys, Tieton here we come!

Bob, that was just too freaky at the HVAC shop. The MG guy came out of the company next door, he looks over the whole cart and wanders off. He comes back a few minutes later and says, "Can you use this?" I say yes, it'll look perfect on the end of the supercharger.

Fellow Wood Butchers. Great job on radiator. One hint for those wanting the "glow"---if you coat the wood with a couple of coats of epoxy, you can then sparay with a rattle can and turn wood into glossy metal. Also seals the wood for washing any critters off. Great looking CK. DDole

Put on some last minute touches, but like Bob some things never got finished. It was too dark for photos y'all will see it tomorrow. 12hrs work and another 4 on the cart I'm done in, time for bed.

I started some changes to the new and improved K3 last week. I pulled the axle off a couple weeks or a month ago to give a couple of leaves to Derek, so this week I chopped off the spindles and made a couple drop sections and welded it back up. I mounted the new axle today, it has some positive camber built in. It has a serious positive toe issue right now but I'll adjust it tomorrow.

The lowering is complete! I took it for it's second maiden voyage today. Everything is lined up well and it runs like a top. Little scary on the third lap, the brake adjuster came loose and I had little to no brakes. Finally got it to stop after blasting through a couple of narrow openings.
