Looks great Vic... Going to ride a lot lower & probably have much more fun in the corners..

Just getting mine torn down again to rebuild that rear end.

Seeing you already had a jack shaft, the new one won't be as hard to get running as mine was. I had to move my rear axle to fit clutch, but I wanted to lower it anyway so no big deal. On with the new body work.

Ha I wish...prev jackshaft ran in front of engine..the new one will have to be behind the engine...which looks like cutting the frame to accommodate the driven wheel.. Well you know what that's like...smiling smiley

So changing from a 35 to 40 chain while at it too.

Hi Vic
I hope we can get together when I get back from the USA May 31st.
I was past your place on Saturday am, but it was raining and I was on another mission.
Good Roads
Brian

I'll be at Tieton, you too? I had the K3 out for a trial run but didn't take any video. With the new lower stance it can be thrown into corners, she'll break that locked wheel loose in tight corners on asphalt. I never really measured but the turning radius is about 12 feet.

Brian, give me a call when you get back.

I did a little work on the supercharger cover today, spent more time waiting for the glue to dry than actual work.

I got yesterday's work all sanded down and ready for the foil wrap. I've got to make a couple of small tail pieces, but that'll have to wait until the weekend now.

Hi Vic
Glad to hear you are making progress again........keep at it!thumbs up
But, ......What is a "Dashpot" and where does it go?
Can't picture it in my head????confused smiley
Brian
Edit....So Vic
Funny thing happened to me after I posted this message.
I went over to the MG Forum and was checking out a new thread that had
"Dashpots" in both of its posts.
So...onto Google Images and there the were.
The are the covers for SUs ...I had never heard what the were called??
But, where are you going to use them on a CycleKart??confused smiley

MG K3 0001 has a supercharged inline 6, the dashpot (Technical term Vacuum Chamber) sticks up through the nose piece. If you can waste time on frivolity so can I.
