The Burd sure did display nicely, of course having the model in the drivers seat added a lot to it.
Hey, Al, what did you do for the grill? The one that Dennis had in the car originally looked a lot
rougher and sort of handmade compared to the one you've got in it now.

This one is made using 16' of stainless brake line tubing. I built a fixture to support the new outer shape than my grandson and I rolled each bar to shape and welded. We used blocks between each bar to maintain the spacing not perfect but it was fun working with him.

Looks a lot like the Burd Midget grill that's on the net.
Very nice.

Terrific job on the show, and the Burd makeover, Al!
Wish I could swap some mud with you this weekend.

Dave,
I'd love to be there but this is a recovery weekend for me.

Have you noticed how quiet it's been up in Westbank????
I'll bet there's a little "weekend recovery" goin' on up there.

I can't drive and type at the same time.
This was this afternoon on the way home from what turned out to be a 1500 mile trip, crossing Wa. twice, B.C. twice and the highest mountain Pass in Canada twice (1 mile high), plus the Border 4 times in 5 days.
Big Thanks to Peter for the use of his CK, and Albert for coordinating the whole Car Show Display, and to Kirk for waiting patiently as I race across the State with no cell phone to meet him with our new Alfa CK. He didn't give up on me even though I was an hour and a half late......whole other story? What a weekend!

Snow banks were over 15 ft high up there, and we hit snow an all 4 mountain passes we crossed both coming and going!
But, we brought home the 1st place trophy for Peter and got his CK home safely.
This is what it looks like up there in the summer???
Same exact spot....except there was 10 ft of snow on the bathroom roof and a tunnel to the entrance.

Salmo pass might be highest in BC, not Canada. Highwood Pass in Alberta is over 7200’.
