It's got that happy and sad thing going all at once. No one up to talk to when you're in the mood to talk, but then again you can talk to people all over the world.

S'all for now!

Hi Denny
I am usually still up when you hit the on button on your computer s you walk bye to take the dog out
and put a log on the fire in the shop., as I am a late night guy!
Usually catch the Kiwis as they come on!
But, by time I get up you should be in for lunch!
The time zones just define, who we get talk to during our couch & computer time.
Hope you are enjoying a hot bowl of soup!thumbs up
Brian
PS
I see the Brits just got some new members, and as I mentioned to Rhys last year,
it was just a matter of being patient! They WILL come!

Radio and TV are older than you think Denny. First TV broadcasts were in 1928. My dad got our first TV in 1952. Sold his nickle plated Colt 1911 to pay for it. I wish he had kept the 1911. smileys with beer

In reply to # 38212 by Denny Graham Yeah, it is actually pretty amazing when I think about it. When I was a kid,
back in the mid to late 40's, radio was only 25 years old and television was
still in the experimental stage, not yet ready for public consumption.
Dick Tracy was using his wrist radio , (which really hadn't been invented yet)
in the Sunday funny's.
Jump forward to today and I can talk to anyone, anywhere in the world,
well.....almost anywhere in the world if you exclude N.Korea and a few
other dictatorships. Not only talk with them but see them during our
conversation and look up almost anything, all on a tiny smart phone.
Next step is to embed the chip where we'll be think connected to the
World Wide Web.
I only wonder what surprises my last 24 years will yield, that is....if we don't
pull our heads out of our ars's and face the fact that this is the only chance
we have here on this little blue dot. If we don't change the way we live the
kids being born now might be the last generation of any life form to inhabit
our earth.
