True. But when Yat Ming wanted to make a 1:18 scale diecast model of the 1961 Imperial convertible, they came around to my place, and took just a few measurements, plus a host of photos, and reproduced it very precisely (pix attached). As we don't need the same level of replication (and indeed cannot have it given the differences in undercarriage and scale), I think a photo or two would be sufficient for a build!
