Yup, looks like the bug is contagiouseye rolling smiley
I ordered my tires today. In the end I don't think I'm saving any big bucks by getting them here in the uk but at least it feels like I'm spending in the right direction if that makes sense. Approx $230 for four tires, four tubes & four tube protectors.
275's rear & 250 Fronts
I'll also be getting my TAV2 here as well, represent about a$20 saving over princess auto but I don't have to pay HST so maybe saved $60 overall on that.
The thing that could screw this up is going to sea and leaving the ship in a different country angry smiley Will have been away 8 plus weeks so within my limits of "bringbackables" just no room in the suit case for much anything else.

Right, who's got pictures to post then - Brian, Ed?

Martin, Fortnine sells Shinkos for 45 a corner, and I have an engine TAV combo for sale at 300. Just an FYI.

Hey Victor thanks for the parts offer, seems like a good deal but I have an engine and the new torque converter is now in my grubby little hands

looking Good Ed. You'll be able to get out side and do doughnuts in the snow very soon. Brian is going to have to play catch up with you me thinks? Holidays in Mexico, where's the mans priorities.
I'm back out at sea again bobbing around 120km off the coast of Cornwall on a cable repair. Be about two weeks before I'm back along side by which time I should be due off. Whether I will be getting off is another thing.
I'll have to get Carol to go down to Armstrong Machine and order my 1X3 and a sheet of aluminum.

Told my daughter that I'd get the 52 Merc pickup running again for her graduation but looks like its going to be snow bound in the back shed for a good few weeks after I'm home. Plenty of time to spend with the wife then (if she comes over to the garage and builds a cyclekart that is?).

Which engine is the one you guys are using from Princess Auto?
I see they have a half dozen that are just about the right size for
the cyclekarts.
I've read that the Blue clone engines are about as close to the
original Honda as any of them. The HF Predator seems to stray
from the Honda enough that it really can't be considered a
true clone.
Hey Martin, how long does it take you to get your land legs
back again after spending the whole winter at sea????
You know you want to give it a little time before you start
cutting up that frame, else it will have waves in it.

Hey Denny, no need to worry about the motion of the ocean - I just ware roller skates on the ship so don't have to worry about leaning too and throw with the wave action.
Does make for an interesting meal time standing up on watch with a full bowl of soup though

Martin....why don't you save your McDonald's cup and straw to sip your
soup in???
At least it sounds like you'll have the kart all planned out by the time
you hit land again. That should make it move along pretty quick.
Take care, stay dry.

Nice to have the forum back up.

Anybody get any work done without distractions?

Martin, care to report on Ed’s progress?

I return in two weeks, can you make the snow disappear?
