Hub adapters?

Well, got the brake hubs mastered, moving on to the wheel hubs next.
I'm working on several designs but took a look at the VKCo. hubs that
Steve V. upgraded his kart with. Might consider something similar and
since they're engineers and I'm not, they probably calculated the
material thickness for the parts.
Maybe someone could take a tape to their hub and see if I'm guessing
The tube is 1 3/4" OD x 3/8" wall x 2" long. Disk is 1/2" thick fits inside the
first step in the inside of the hub and has a 3/4" hole to stop the hub against
the shoulder on the axle. Does that sound about right???
