I actually had the stuff collected to re-route my air cleaner similar to what Bow shows. In the end though, I decided against it for the reason Rhys points out. I wanted it to be a runner, and all that fresh cool air outside is just free horsepower.

I benefit of my Kart design, the back is very open. No heat issues
