This is my latest . Almost finished roadster. Found the copper at the scrap yard. I think it's from a old copper roof. There's around 1000 copper rivets in this kart. And rack and pinion steering.

Hello Chris, excellent idea for body and excellent realisation! Great job. I like its something wider body - gave it some style! What is original auto usded as inspiration? Any photo from construction process? Regards, Zoran

Hi Zoran,I saw a Bugati body style similar to what I built but it all came down to how the metal bent. I don't have any real metal working tools so had to do a little trial and error. Lol

... at the end, it was more trial than error! Good inspiration for different body aproach... Enjoy in driving! Zoran

That looks great Chris, I love the copper. We are getting quite a group of builders here in Arizona. We will have to get together soon.

Since copper is nearly 3 1/2 times the weight of aluminum, that had to add a bunch to the total weight. Especially if it's roof flashing?dg

I saw this kart this weekend and the pics here do not represent how nice the Kart is. It has a great look to it almost a Steampunkish.

I like the copper body panels the way they are also riveted cleanly together like the #1 car.. Very nice work...!
