“The TR4”
Purchased this 42,9xx original miles TR4 18 March 2008 to do a ground up restoration. It is restored to original condition including the BRG exterior and Red interior. From 18 Mar 08 until 16 Nov 08 I got the car completely stripped down to the chassis, restored and painted the chassis, rebuilt the suspension and brakes and got them back on the chassis. May 09 I got the engine back in the car. Three + years to strip, prepare, and paint the body. Got the body tub back on the chassis Jul 13. Finished the interior Jun 14. First drive Jul 14. New top installed on 25 May 2015. There may be better, but I have the pride in doing everything myself to include a complete mechanical restoration, all body work, the paint, interior kit and top installation. Earned a 1st Junior at the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) fall car show in Hershey PA on 10 October 2015. AACA 1st Senior October 2016. AACA Grand National Greensburg PA 2018.
