So glad I started this journal timeline, very useful looking back. The Midget was completed in spring of 2012 and Ive been driving it every chance I get since then. Only thing Ive done since then is drive it, I highly recommend removing the screen inside the gas tank and rewarding the intake 1" off the bottom of the tank this way you never have fuel delivery issues. When the screen clogs you get the proverbial spitting and sputtering problem, and besides there should be a fuel filter under the bonnet to trap anything before it gets to the SU's.

Timeline 72' MG BPurchased August 2016. Had been rolled thru a ditch? and incurred damage on both doors, both front fenders, hood, and front bumper. Back half was fine. I bought this car sight unseen at auction on the advice of a friend. In the glove box I found receipts totaling 16K from a complete restoration in 1999 by Quality Coaches in Minneapolis. I started taking the car apart right away and sourcing parts, bolted on both doors last night, bonnet and boot are at the painters being blasted and primed. Located a 5spd transmission from a 77' Datsun 280Z last night in St Cloud and calling Rivergate today for conversion kit, installing that right away along with new aluminum radiator, new oil cooler, new rubber oil cooler lines, delete thermostat. This is the short list, Im glad Im pulling the motor because 20 year old oil cooler lines are practically fused on- thats how I destroyed the old oil cooler trying to remove the line to replace it.
