Driving In Portugal

Recently a short trip to Portugal. Read numerous remarks about treacherous driving there. We rented a Mercedes 220 D van for the five of us and our luggage. Leaving Lisbon bound for Coimbra, then on to averiobn, and Serr Buccaco forest, finally for Porto via a stop in Lamego.... Driving is different and for first few moments daunting... but you on on same reoads the locals travel, you get used to it. In the cities and towns there are fewer four way intersections, there are many merging...

owned 4 of them as hobbyist wannabe. One stolen.one junker from yard to salvage parts.. then the good one, blue 1600... still needed everything, but taught me a ton regards engine/gearbox/brakes etc etc. to my regret i sold the blue one , needing garage space, ang by then two daily drivers for our careers and having long acquired a tr6 and simply needing space. the blue was I am told then more carefully restored, painted black, and made to be a show car, appreciative new owners. the blue...

Getting To Good Running

has been a long road, four years... dumbshit I am...ovk that settled... I have had the car running since end 2014, after 21 year hiatus(clutch things I too busy)... so finally back to running... 2014/2015... if fitfully. in 2017, august I felt I had conquered it... finally ran well... or seemed to... progressivly have made it a little bit better. today! I revisited "Idle trimming screws" describe page 40/41 owners handbook and elsewhere... describing these screws, springloaded on strombergs...
